What if

What if everything you knew and had was striped away? 

What if everyone you loved and cared for no longer existed? 

What if you were forever all alone on this earth with no earthly companion/s? 

Would God be enough? 

Would your relationship with Jesus be the most treasured and precious thing? 
And all that mattered was pleasing and serving Him? 

Would He be enough? Enough to live and die for? 
Would you be willing to loose everything for the sake of following Him? 

What if, there was no heaven? There was just this one life to live.

 Would you still live, serve and follow Jesus? 
Or follow your own way? Or is Jesus heaven to you?

Her eyes, a cool shade of hazel, stared blankly at the wall. She looks lost.. no peace and joy, just sadness and a deep need. A want for something real and better. They say that the eyes are the window to the soul, and in that moment I believe that was true. In that one glance, I could feel her pain and unrest. It took all that was in me to continue on with the procedure and not to stop and say, “before we continue let me tell you about my Jesus.”  But all I could do was pray for her.
